While not particularly in keeping with the usual posts here on the devkitPro site I thought this was worth a mention since it’s for a good cause.

The SpeedGamers are having a 72 hour Metroid Marathon to raise money for St Jude’s Children’s Hospital. In their first marathon they raised $1090 for St. Jude. The second marathon they rasied $1355 for Giggles Therapy, one of their local Autism organizations. The current marathon started on August 15th at 6pm CST and has  raised $3152 of their $5000 target so far.

All donors are entered into a prize draw for a copy of Wii Metroid Prime 3 signed personally by the development team.
