It’s that time of year again when SourceForge starts taking nominations for the best projects in a number of categories. Please show your support by nominating us again this year at the SourceForge CCA nomination page.

Drunken Coders competition reminder

There’s now slightly less than a month remaining to get your entries in for the 2008 Drunken Coders Winter Compo so hopefully you’ve all at least made a start. This year entries are being accepted for Wii and Gamecube as well as the usual GBA and DS – currently the prize fund has reached almost $1000, with ~$850 for DS/GBA and ~$100 pledged for Wii/Gamecube.

The recent addition of MaxMod to the libraries supplied with devkitARM makes it even easier to add your christmas jingles so we’re looking forward to a high standard this year.

devkitPro will be donating 50% of the donations and ad revenue for December to the prize pool.

Kojote has just announced the latest event over at PD Roms

The task for this competition is to backport an existing Nintendo DS game to the GBA.  There are currently some interesting prizes on offer including some rare GBA carts and GBA accelerometers.

PS: If you feel left out: Release a NDS game first and then “backport” it to GBA and release it with this compo :D
